Poor Cooper

Over the past few days the boys have all had colds. Well, yesterday I went to work and my mom was watching the boys. She called me early on and said Coop wasn't doing so good and he had just thrown up all over. Later that day I got a phone call from my dad who was very concerned about Cooper. I said I would take him to the Doctor when I got home. I called my mom a couple hours later and she said Coop was breathing really hard and wheezing and had not urinated all day. Needless to say I came home from work early. I made an appointment on my way home. When I got home Coop was retracting pretty bad and sounded awful. I decided just to go straight to the ER. They took us back fairly quickly. He's was breathing about 80 times a minute and his sats where 88. They did a breathing treatment and then got an xray sent a bunch of viral test, which all came back negative. He was still retracting quit a bit so they decided to keep us over night. They took us up to the pediatric unit and got settled in. Coop had just had a breathing treatment so he was totally wired. He was jumping on the bed and running around in the crib. It was hilarious. I wish I had my camera. I did take pictures with my phone so if I figure out how to download them I'll post them. Throughout the night he did pretty good. They continued to give him treatments and suck him out regularly. They also had to put an IV in because he was a little dehydrated. This morning the Doctor came in and asked if I was ok to take him home and do the treatment at home. I was ok with it. I actually had all the stuff from when the boys got RSV. So now we are at home and instead of going to work tomorrow and making money I get to stay home and be a nurse to my own sweet little boy.

Bummer. I'm glad you're home though! So just send your pics from your phone to your email then save them from there. The quality is never real good but it works!!

Oh how scary! That always makes me nervous because Cutler always breathes fast so when he is sick I don't know whether or not to consider his tachypnea into the picture. I'm so glad it wasn't anything too serious and that he is getting better.
