2nd Annual Friend Christmas Party

Last night we had our friend Christmas Party. It was a great time. I have the best friends in the whole world. I love getting together with them and their families.

Look at all those kids. We sure all know how to procreate!!!

Jamie just got done posting these pictures so I stole them and posted them too. I hope its ok.

Santa Clause

Braxton told me he had to go tell Santa what he wanted so we ran over to the mall to tell Santa their lists. Braxton wants a Spark Scooter and Logan wants a Choo Choo Train. Cooper was excited to go too. I think Logan was the one that was a little confused this year.

Funny Logan Moment

One day I was in Target and I had Logan and Cooper. I was back looking at all the holiday stuff and Logan wanted to go over and play with the display that you can play different songs. There was another little girl over there so I let him go and continued to browse. I walked around the corner and Logan and the little girl were holding each others hands and doing a little ballroom dancing. It was the cutest thing. I couldn't stop laughing. I love my Logan!!!!

Rockin Around the Christmas Tree

I have a cute Rudolf stocking that plays some music and the boys love it. They dance to it every night. One night I even got in on the fun and taught the boys how to swing dance. Braxton is taking all the pictures on this one.

The Christmas List

Im not much of a reader but every Christmas I usually buy one of Richard Paul Evans books. This year I got The Christmas List and I highly recommend it. I read it all in one night and just sat and cried. He really makes you think a lot about life and how not to take it for granted.

Gingerbread House

This year we decided to decorate a gingerbread house. I think the boys had a lot of fun doing it and eating all the candy.

Holiday Suits

I bought the boys some really cute Holiday suits. They looked so handsome and grown up. Getting a good picture is really hard these days.
Cooper looks like he got beat up but he's still as cute as ever.

The Holidays are Hard

Christmas is supposed to be one of the happiest times of the year and it is actually on of my favorite holidays. I remember so many wonderful childhood memories but as an adult the only memories I have are not so happy. The first time Chad and I seperated two days before Christmas, we actually did spend Christmas together so that we wouldn't ruin everyone else's Christmas too but it ruined mine. There has been a few good years in between but not many. Last year was awful. I was single and alone I ended up crying myself to sleep and had to hold back the tears in the morning so my kids wouldn't know anything was wrong. I was completely broke so the kids were a little disapointed.
I have a feeling this year is not going to be much different. I really want to make great memories for my kids and I do try to do things to help with that but its really hard when I am down myself. I am not looking forward to waking up alone this year and putting out the presents, but I am going to do my best and keep a smile on my face.
I hope one year when I finally feel my family is complete I will look back on these years and be greatful for all my trials I have gone through, but for right now it is very hard.
